Getting to Zurich

The great thing about Zurich is that it's easily reachable by train and plane - it's one hour away by air from all major European cities. Some links:

Tram

Travel time from the train station should be no more than ten minutes. When you arrive at "Zürich Hauptbahnhof" (getting off the train, facing the main hall), the easiest way is to go to the right, down the escalators, a few steps to the left through the hall, up another escalator to the tram stop "Bahnhofplatz/Hauptbahnhof": Trams 3, 14 and 10 stop here. Take the tram no. 10 (final stop "Bahnhof Oerlikon") to "ETH/Universitätsspital" (3 stops). You can check fahrplan.search.ch for the up-to-date schedule. The tram stop is located directly in front of the main ETH building ("HG" for "Hauptgebäude"). It's really as easy as it sounds...

Nach Zürich kommen

Das Tolle an Zürich ist unter anderem, dass es einfach per Zug und Flugzeug zu erreichen ist - man fliegt nur eine Stunde von allen grossen Städten in Europa. Ein paar Links:

Tram

Vom Hauptbahnhof ist man in zehn Minuten an der ETH. Wenn Du mit dem Zug in Zürich ankommst (und aussteigst mit Blick auf die grosse Bahnhofshalle), ist der einfachste Weg wie folgt: Rechts, die Rolltreppen runter, ein paar Schritte durch die Halle nach links, die Rolltreppen oder Treppen wieder rauf, zur Haltestelle "Bahnhofplatz/Hauptbahnhof": Hier halten die Trams 3, 14 und 10. Du nimmst Nr. 10 Richtung "Bahnhof Oerlikon" bis "ETH/Universitätsspital" (dritte Haltestelle ab Bahnhof). Du kannst unter fahrplan.search.ch den Live-Abfahrtsplan angucken. Das Tram hält direkt vor dem ETH Hauptgebäude ("HG"). Es ist wirklich so einfach.
